Papa Benz is a modern tavern in Munich-Schwabing that combines Bavarian tradition with a contemporary, urban interpretation. The name goes back to the tenor Josef “Papa” Benz, who opened a cabaret stage on Leopoldstraße around 1900 and founded Germany's first artists' pub with Café Benz. For Papa Benz, we have developed an independent visual identity that combines tradition and the present. Branding, illustrations, print products and merchandise form a clear brand world that runs from guest rooms to digital communication.
